Additional information
Our community sits at the heart of our work with children. Our holiday clubs are busy with returning children. It's a wonderful time to catch up and re-connect. This is what makes our work here at NOK so special - building trusting and respectful relationships within our community so that we see children and their families return again and again.
During sessions, children choose from a range of activities, as well as self-directed opportunities for exploring their own interests. They take opportunities to develop skills in using tools through woodwork and bushcraft. A fire acts as the warming hub at the centre of our space, where children can develop bushfire cooking and fire lighting skills. By spending time with us children are able to retain their natural curiosity, and develop a lifelong desire to learn and question, an appreciation for friendship, and a strong personal relationship with the NOK community.
